New site aims to help teachers with supplies | Schools

Teachers and students will all be heading back to the classroom this month. Many of those classrooms may likely be strapped for cash due to lower budgets.

School Family Media, a national organization connecting parents and teachers for the betterment of students, is joining forces with Bounty. School Family Media and Bounty  launched TeacherWishlist.com.

Teacherwishlist.com aims to help lessen the budgetry burdens that may keep teachers from operating classes properly.

Here's how Teacherswishlist.com works, teachers create a class wish list that parents can access. This allows parents in their community to purchase the most important supplies needed for the classroom.

Teachers can also register on the site to win the Bounty Grand Prize of $25,000 to go toward a classroom makeover. But, the prizes don't stop there. One hundred people who register will be eligible to win individual grants of $462 each.
